Ride in the Yorkshire Wolds

Enjoy a short break in the Wolds! This is the landscape that captivated David Hockney and inspired much of his art, often produced on a scale which reflects the huge open spaces and vast skies. In fact it's so beautiful, we can't understand why it isn't a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty!
The riding circuits help you explore the grass-covered hills, deep valleys and woodland, and we use many of the long bridleways for which the area is becoming well-known. One of the great features of this sparsely populated area is that there are few gates! The roads are generally quiet with wide verges - although we suggest that your horses are used to farm machinery.
You stay on a B&B basis at a delightful rural pub, with your horses grazing in a safe field nearby. Packed lunches are included. Evening meals are extra and can be taken in the pub where you stay, or in a restaurant in a nearby market town.
From £225 per person for 2 nights / 2 days
This holiday can easily be extended to add more days' riding, sometimes with a short road-trip to the start point of a new route.
