Soak up the marvellous scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds

Enjoy a short riding break based at a rural pub or cottage in this beautiful area.

This is the landscape that captivated David Hockney and inspired much of his art, often produced on a scale which reflects the huge open landscapes and vast skies.

The riding circuits are designed to help you explore the chalk landscapes of grass-covered hills, deep valleys and woodland, and we use many of the long bridleways for which the area is becoming well-known.

One of the great features of this sparsely populated area is that there are few gates! The roads are generally quiet with wide grassy verges - although we do suggest your horses are used to farm machinery.

Take your evening meal in the pub (if that's where you're staying) or venture further afield to one of the nearby market towns.
