Ride in the North York Moors
Your base for this fabulous holiday in the North York Moors National Park is either a working farm or a former shooting lodge (both lovely 18th century buildings), with many options to explore beautiful valleys and villages via a network of bridleways.
The farmhouse B&B is in the western part of the park from where it’s possible to ride across the high moor to the neighbouring valley of Bransdale, with its remote farms, or to the atmospheric ruins of Rievaulx Abbey, managed by English Heritage.
The former shooting lodge is in the south of the park, and from here our routes follow wonderful bridleways and lanes across moorland between picturesque villages.
Wherever possible we include stops at pubs or tea-rooms along the way - it would be a shame not to sample the local fare!
Price: From £225 per person for 2 days / 2 nights
This holiday can easily be extended by 1 or more days - there are several more routes within easy reach, usually with a short journey by road to the start point.
