Burnby Equestrian Centre

One of the very few places that offers hacking in the Yorkshire Wolds, this friendly riding centre in the countryside near Pocklington is a great 'all-rounder': you or your children (from the age of 4) can learn to ride here or improve your skills, and it also has access to quiet lanes and bridleways and lovely countryside of woodland, rolling hills and pretty villages.

Owner Sue Bargate and manager Felicity Warden provide a range of horses and ponies to suit all riders, and offer group and individual lessons for beginner to intermediate levels.

As a registered Pony Club Centre, there are plenty of fun activities for children such as pony days and pony parties, as well as classes and hacking for adults too - including jumping sessions and hacks from an hour to several hours, with wonderful views over the Wolds.

Whether you're resident in the area or visiting, you can be assured of a warm welcome and a great horsey experience!
