Thorpe Hall, Rudston, Yorkshire Wolds

Surrounded by beautiful mature woods and parkland, Thorpe Hall and the surrounding Estate has been owned by the same family for 200 years.
The current owners, Somerled and Charlotte Macdonald, offer charming self-catering accommodation near the main house: Laundry Cottage and Stable Cottages.
Each is perfect for parties of 4-6 people, and there are 4 loose-boxes and ample grazing for several horses - all included in the price of your holiday.
An excellent feature of staying here is that you have access to private tracks across the estate leading onto the well-maintained bridleway network of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are also cross-country jumps to enjoy, while Fraisthorpe Beach - with miles of white sand - is a short drive away.
Over the past couple of years the family has carried out land management designed to improve biodiversity, including establishing some beautiful wildflower meadows humming with bees, moths, butterflies and other insects.
While stays are normally for a week, it's also possible to do shorter breaks outside peak season.
