Pony Glamping, Ruston, Scarborough
Located just a short drive from the long, sandy beaches of the North Yorkshire Coast, this charming glamping site is a perfect place to stay close to your equine friends - you can wake each morning to the gentle sounds of them grazing (the paddocks are separated off with electric fencing).
Owner Kate Risker has set up two comfortably equipped yurts (each sleeping 2-4) in a field on the edge of the village of Ruston. There's a small kitchen area in each yurt, a private loo for each one, and shared shower facilities.
The site is on the boundary of the North York Moors National Park, and you can ride straight out into the farmland and woods such as Wykeham Forest and Dalby Forest, with its network of well-maintained trails. Kate offers guided rides - including sunset rides - and private photo shoots are also an option to capture those special moments with your human and equine friends!
When you're not riding, there's plenty of do locally with Scarborough on your doorstep, including an excellent choice of places to eat out.
