Cliff Stud Retreat  

Cliff Stud is a well-appointed livery yard as well as offering holiday accommodation in self-catering cottages, lodges, and luxury glamping tents. Located just outside the thriving market town of Helmsley, it's a fabulous base for a riding holiday in the North York Moors National Park. 

 

Owner Laura Patrick has laid on excellent equine facilities, including a choice of stabling and grazing, and a round pen and lunging arena. With 220 acres of their own land, you can warm up by riding round the fields before heading off to explore the miles of bridleways and tracks in the area. 

 

For you, there are two cosy three-bedroomed cottages (sleeping up to five in each) and three luxury lodges (each for two people). The cottages have a log fire for those chilly nights, and both have lovely gardens with fruit trees. Outdoor furniture and a bbq can be provided on request. The lodges have underfloor heating. 

 

Helmsley itself - just a mile away - has a range of excellent restaurants, tea-rooms, pubs and shops.
