"Ride for Kate"

The ride raised £3,770 for St Leonard's Hospice - a fantastic total!

The ride uses field margins and tracks across private farmland, bridleways and quiet lanes, with waymarked routes of 6 and 10 miles. Ride at your own pace and choose your set-off time (09.00-10.30 or 10.30-12.00).

Start venue: Moor Farm, Shiptonthorpe, YO43 3QE.

Entry fee £25

Good off-road parking, toilet and water available, rosettes for all.

You'll be offered a free drink and snack during the ride, and there will be BBQ food and homemade cakes on sale back at the start venue, and also the chance to win on a Tombola.

Andrew Ray of Marimages Photography will be on hand taking photos.

This is a Charity Ride in memory of Kate Jeffery and in aid of St Leonard's Hospice, York, so additional donations / sponsorship are very welcome - please give generously!

Kate was a kind and wonderful person, a rider and entrepreneur, who with her husband Chris ran Green's Farm Supplies, with branches in Northallerton and Thirsk.
